Abstract
The ScriptManager is one of the most under advertised controls in the Visual Studio toolbox. This presentation goes beyond the common ScriptManager/UpdatePanel combo and provides an in-depth look at the ScriptManager control and how it can integrate with jQuery, a fast and lightweight JavaScript Library, and web services to quickly create dynamic, interactive AJAX web applications.
About Justin Karpilo
Justin Karpilo is a software developer, consultant, and the founder of Karpilo Digital, a web and software services company. A professional software developer since 2005, Justin left a career as a musician and teacher to develop software full time. As a developer at an international industrial supplier, he co-wrote an order placement and fulfillment system that is currently in use by one of the largest oilfield services corporations in the world. He is currently the President of the Oklahoma City Developer’s Group. In his “spare” time, Justin still performs regularly on the drums, piano, and guitar and enjoys playing video games and relaxing with his wife, Andrea, and five children in Moore, Okla.
